Just A Girl’s Kindness Kookies

The Kindness Kookies journey began several years ago after realizing that I strike up conversations with people just about everywhere I go. Sometimes I would have a lively discussion with a very happy person and sometimes I would talk with someone who was struggling with a personal dilemma. The happy people would energize me and lift my spirits but the people who seemed to be suffering hurt my heart and I just wanted to give them a hug and let them know that I cared even if I didn’t know them.

Because I wanted to help somehow, I started thinking of ways that I could offer just a spark of joy. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking and have seen joy on the face of those who have enjoyed one of my bakes so a thought popped into my head! I figured everyone loves cookies, right?? And what would happen if someone in need of a hug received a cookie from another person, like me, who cares about them? This is how Kindness Kookies began its journey of bringing kindness to people everywhere.
